5 of 5 Totally worth the price. January 31, 2023

Tons of power and pretty good runtime on a 12 amp hour battery. What I like most is after using one 12 amp hour battery it's about time to refill your bar oil so it's easy to remember (one battery means one refill). I love the fact that the kickback break also disengages the trigger from operating so you can't damage the tool. I don't even have to use ear muffs anymore which I always thought was a little bit of a hazard because you couldn't hear anybody yelling to you over the sound of the chainsaw and with earmuffs. I go for this Milwaukee 16 inch over my Husqvarna 20inch on any tree trunks or branches under 16 inch's. Milwaukee will cut branches bigger than that but I don't have to double cut with my 20 inch bar. ( Saves me time)

5 of 5 as good as gas with out the smell January 14, 2023

The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 14 in. is one one of the best battery operated chainsaws I have used. It comes with a plastic scabbard chain protector and built in area for the scrench. We had a tree come down in a storm a few weeks ago. So I filled it up with bar oil, there is a window on the side of the saw to keep track of how much oil you have left. This was not a problem after bucking up most of the tree the battery was down to one bar after a hour and a half and I had plenty of oil left in the machine. Normally when my gas saw runs out its time to take a break this one kept going. They say this does 150 cuts but I am sure I did more than that

5 of 5 Power and convenience! December 24, 2022
Reviewer: Gina F from OH
This battery powered 14? Milwaukee chainsaw is really powerful and convenient. Compared to a traditional gas chainsaw, there?s no mixing of fuel and no frustrations with difficult starts. Compared to typical corded electric saws, (obviously) no cord to drag around or get tangled in your work. We had some snow and ice recently which led to some downed limbs ? this saw made really short work of cutting them into manageable lengths. The cuts were fast and clean and the stated capacity of 160 cuts per battery charge should be sufficient for homeowners. All this in a quiet, no emissions package! Plus it comes with a hard plastic scabbard to protect the chain. Highly recommended!

5 of 5 Wonderful tool August 4, 2022
Reviewer: Joel S from NY
I christened this saw by cutting up three hemlock pines, and it did so with ease. Tons or torque, which ripped through it all. Batteries lasted far longer than expected, and was able to limb all three with the included 12Ah batt, with clean up using an 8Ah. An additional two sessions with the 12Ah got me through logging the trees. I was able to cut 14? rounds with attention, anything under that was easy work. Greater than 14? gets tricky and I would recommend using something bigger. I love not having to worry about spark plugs, 2 stroke mix , etc. Just fill it up with bar oil and go. If I had one critique to make, it would be that the bar oil leaks heavily while not in use which means you must store it dry; which in turn means if you intend to keep it in your truck for fallen trees, be ready to store a bottle of oil with it because it will leak everywhere. I?ve not looked into any mods or potential solutions to this problem, only read others with the same issue. Overall though I definitely recommend this and would love to see a larger option offered in the future.

5 of 5 Very happy with the saw August 3, 2022
Reviewer: robert s from PA
I was pretty surprised at how well this cut. I have a 20inch Echo gas powered saw, and an old Craftsman 19.2 volt 10 inch saw. The Milwaukee cuts six inch logs as fast as the Echo. It has a thinner bar and chain, so that helps the speed as it has less material to move. But I have not noticed it being less sturdy. The whole day is very balanced, and quiet. I love that it starts right up by pulling the trigger, as opposed to pull starting. You can set it down and work on something else and when you need it, just pull the trigger. The Craftsman was only good for think branches, but this can cut 12 inch logs with some patience. I had a bunch of trees come down in a storm and this was great.

5 of 5 Milwaukee M18 Chainsaw June 27, 2022
Reviewer: Erica L from CA
Milwaukee M18 Chainsaw purchased to do yard cleanup. Paired with a 8AH battery trimmed two oak trees and cleaned up small brush that grows behind the house. Battery lasted about one hour of cutting small branches and preformed flawlessly. Great saw for general cleanup for a homeowner.

5 of 5 Super saw for home May 31, 2022
Reviewer: Elio R from CA
The Milwaukee M18 FUEL Chainsaw can do up to 150 cuts per charge with an XL battery. The brushless motor is good under heavy loads. It says REDLINK gives protection from overload, overheating and over discharge and I have found it to be automatic. I used the unit with 8.0 HD and a 12.0 HD battery and it does home tree maintenance, well. The saw can reach full throttle in under 1 second. It does need batteries and is not an all-day gas saw. Recommend a big HD 12.0 battery for bigger jobs or many smaller ones. The saw is lightweight, but sturdy and the weight is set more on the size of battery. Climbing with it in your hand is not difficult with smaller batteries. It uses a 14 in. Oregon bar and chain. There is a Milwaukee brand saw chain available. The very sharp chain helps fast cutting a lot. It has a variable speed trigger. It has an automatic oiler with 2.6 oz fill. It has an integrated slot for the combo screw driver wrench (Scrench). Takes all M18 batteries. Because it?s battery it can be carried without operation and starts without throwing an arm in the air. The brake is electrical cut off and physical and stops immediately. Very Safe.
