If you have a broken plastic part that has the marking "HDPE+GF15", that tells you that the part is high density polyethylene with 15% glass fibers. It may have markings like "HDPE+GF20" or "HDPE+GF30" or some other number next to GF. Whatever number follows the "GF" is the percentage of glass fibers that are in the high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic. Since HDPE+GF15 is the only glass-filled HDPE that we offer (for now) this would be your best option whenever you have a broken, glass-fiber reinforced high density polyethylene part. Fiberglass reinforced HDPE is used to make reusable delivery totes among other things. This is the BULKpackage contains 1 lb. (0.45kg) of natural HDPE+GF15 plastic welding strips. Each rod measures 12 inches (30 cm) long, 3/8th inch (9.5 mm) wide, 1/16th inch (1.6 mm) thick, and there are approximately 98 rods per pound.
