The 17400 kit aids in the removal of the harmonic damper pulleys for several vehicles not covered by other pullers on the market. This includes certain years and models of GM Geo and Chevrolet Spark, as well as many Nissan, Infinity, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Lexus and Scion vehicles. The compact design easily fits into tight engine compartment spaces and allows the spring-loaded legs to quickly land on the pulley. The calculated geometry increases the pull of the leg on the pulley as it tightened without grinding away all of the puller?s strength. This kit is an excellent accompaniment to the current Schley pulley pullers, allowing technicians to service most vehicles on the road today.
