When you receive your shipment, please inspect the packaging carefully, and note with the delivery driver if there is any damage to the packaging at the time. If possible, take pictures and send them to us - and we will assist you in replacing your order. It is important to note, that you must notify us about the damage within 3 business days from delivery.

We will accept all return requests within the 30 days period. Please allow 3 - 5 business days for returns to be inspected and credited once received.

All return requests will be reviewed and responded to within 1 business day, but will generally be within a few hours if the request is received during our normal business hours.

Non-Defective Items (Changed mind, misordered)

You are responsible for all return shipping costs on non-defective items. Upon request, can provide a flat-rate UPS return shipping label for non-defective merchandise for $25.00 (deducted from the refund)


  • Freight shipments, or items over 150LBs are subject to additional terms (below)
  • International Orders may be subject to additional terms.
  • Due to hazardous item shipping regulations, items with gasoline engines are ineligible for returns or refunds after gasoline has been added to the tank. These items must be repaired at a authorized Factory Service Center
  • Restocking fees of up to 50% will be deducted from any refund/credit on items that have been visibly used and are not in factory-new condition. Important note: Certain items that are shipped directly by their manufacturers may be subject to restocking fees of up to 50% regardless of condition or use.

Packing and Sending Your Return

When sending an item back to, please ensure the following:
  • The item is in it original box with all original packaging, accessories & documents. Returned items missing original packaging, accessories or documents are subject to up to a 50% restocking fee.
  • The product is securely & properly packaged to avoid damage in transit

Risk-Free Reconditioned Items

All reconditioned items offered by are sold risk-free and therefore have an extended return period of 90 days. All other return conditions described on this page apply as-is.

Large Item Return Policy

Due to the expense of shipping heavy items, large items are subject to additional terms.
  • Be sure to carefully inspect all Heavy Item (freight) deliveries for damage before signing the bill of lading as freight handling charges cannot be refunded. If item(s) arrive damaged or defective, you must note this on the shipping receipt and refuse delivery to avoid paying return freight charges. If this is not done, you will be responsible for return freight charges back to us or the manufacturer. Please notify us of any delivery problems as soon as possible to expedite the refund process.
  • In situations where a damaged product can be repaired by either a factory-technician or end-user, may opt to provide replacement parts and/or a service technician instead of returning the whole item.

Please note that you will be responsible for the additional freight costs in the following instances:

  • You miss your delivery appointment
  • You refuse or return a non-damaged, non-defective item

Returns on Non-Defective Large Items (Changed mind, misordered)

For returns of non-defective large item(s), you are responsible for paying return freight. Freight fees on large item range between $100.00 and $500.00. Restocking fees of up to 50% will be deducted from any refund/credit on items that have been visibly used and are not in factory-condition resalable condition. Important Note: Some items that are shipped directly from the manufacturer are subject to a restocking fee up to 50% regardless of their condition.

Restocking Fees

In order to keep our prices low, we have to charge a re-stocking fee in certain instances. A restocking fee of up to 50% will be assessed in the following situations:
  • Non-defective merchandise returned in visibly used, or damaged condition
  • Orders "Refused" without authorization
  • Returns that were shipped back after 30 days of the date received (Note: unless authorized, late returns will be rejected)
  • Any return that is not the result of defective/damaged merchandise or a shipping error
  • Items that shipped directly by the manufacturer, regardless of condition or use.

Warranty and Parts Info

After 30 days, purchases made from Tool Shack Web are no longer covered by our Return Policy. After this time, products are covered by their respective Manufacturer Warranty and in most cases may be brought to an Authorized Service Center for repair.

Orders Policy reserves the right to cancel orders for any reason.

Special Orders

Special order items indicated on the website take additional time to order and ship.

Special order items that are returned will be charged a 50% restocking fee.

In the unlikely event that a special order item has a lead time longer than 30 days, Customer Service will contact you to determine if you would like to proceed with your order or cancel it. If you choose to proceed with your order, will capture the funds for amount of the order at that time.

Drop Ships

If indicated, items may be drop shipped. Delivery times will depend on factory availability.

1 Day thru 5 Day Shipping Options offers a reduced rate guaranteed ground delivery option. This guarantee is only on the transit time. It does not guarantee when the package will be packed and provided to the shipper. The guaranteed delivery time is only for the time the package is in transit with the shipper. In general, most in stock items will ship the following business day.
